Where to start
The Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park day use area is the perfect spot to start your ride in the Crawford Trails. Located at the end of Stewart Road East, you’ll find ample parking space as well as trail signage and area information. Suit up, and get ready to hit the trails.
Heads up: don’t leave anything valuable in your car, as this has unfortunately been a spot that’s been a target for thieves.
A perfect photo op
You can’t go wrong with the views in the Okanagan Valley. Almost every trail gives you spectacular backdrops of Lake Okanagan and the city of Kelowna. One of the best trails for lake views is Crawford Canyon DH, as it descends through an old forest fire burn area with a steep canyon to your right. Eyes forward.
The Lost Lake Trail is one of the simplest and most approachable ways up the mountain. From start to finish, the Lost Lake Trail will take you up 700m of elevation over 8.1km, so this climb is not for the faint of heart. However, if you take it slow and pick and choose your descent, the grind is worth the effort.
Don’t miss this descent
Vapour Trail is over 4km long and 525m of non-stop fun. With everything from buff singletrack to technical rock gardens and gap jumps to drops, Vapour starts off from the famous Kettle Valley Railway and descends right back into the main network above the day use area where you parked. A great way to finish off your ride.
